As one of many possible lines of development, the collective that could all be grouped as MIND is quite extensive, at least two dozen options of self development that are not strictly about Body, Spirit or Shadow. Using our minds in a way that encourages extension, development and growth has benefits which include reducing major illness such as dementia.  In the last of this series of posts on the importance of Integral Life Practice, we will look at the importance of address our shadow self at some level. This is considered by Wilber and Pattern one the 4 core modules that must be addressed if there is going to be a truly balanced and integral practice for self development. This is also why I run a regular Reclaiming Your Shadow workshop to help people get a basic understanding what the shadow is and how to work with it.

For the third part in this series looking at the importance of having an Integral Life Practice (ILP) we shall be taking a look at the other significant dimension of the body, Diet. By this we do not mean a diet plan per say, as generally those are quite difficult for a large portion of the population as they come with the stigma of success or failure. In this post we will look at how to reframe our idea of diet to take off a significant amount of the pressure and just enlist your common sense. All this by using what I think is the simplest diet plan ever with a few refinements of my own thrown in.
