This series of blogs is looking at the importance of having an Integral Life Practice. That is a daily practice that supports and encourages our health, wellbeing and conscious development. By having a more structured framework which is both distilled, scalable and is comprehesively addressing body, mind and spirit in self, culture and nature; we are more likely to live a life that we are motivated and inspired to live. In this second part we will begin to look at what is represented in the Body module.
Integral Life Practice (ILP) is an approach to well-being, awareness and transformation that works unsurprisingly Integrally!
Rather than just focus on merely one aspect of the Self, ILP brings a whole and balanced approach to realising the full spectrum of your being. This gives us a kind of spiritual cross-training that supports the development of different aspects of the self which actually speeds up the developmental process by ensuring at all aspects of the self are being worked with.
This article follows on from Don't Look Down - Can you see the Integral in Urban Free Climbing? Pt1 in which I started to examine the Integral Health aspects of the Channel 4 programme Don't Look Down. I have been facinated by the insight into James Kingston's life through this and was inspired to look at some of the Integral and health aspects of this lifestyle choice and how it could relate to stage development and other Integral concepts.
