For the third part in this series looking at the importance of having an Integral Life Practice (ILP) we shall be taking a look at the other significant dimension of the body, Diet. By this we do not mean a diet plan per say, as generally those are quite difficult for a large portion of the population as they come with the stigma of success or failure. In this post we will look at how to reframe our idea of diet to take off a significant amount of the pressure and just enlist your common sense. All this by using what I think is the simplest diet plan ever with a few refinements of my own thrown in.

This series of blogs is looking at the importance of having an Integral Life Practice. That is a daily practice that supports and encourages our health, wellbeing and conscious development. By having a more structured framework which is both distilled, scalable and is comprehesively addressing body, mind and spirit in self, culture and nature; we are more likely to live a life that we are motivated and inspired to live. In this second part we will begin to look at what is represented in the Body module.

The Importance of an Integral Life Practice pt 1 of 6

Integral Life Practice (ILP) is an approach to well-being, awareness and transformation that works unsurprisingly Integrally!
Rather than just focus on merely one aspect of the Self, ILP brings a whole and balanced approach to realising the full spectrum of your being. This gives us a kind of spiritual cross-training that supports the development of different aspects of the self which actually speeds up the developmental process by ensuring at all aspects of the self are being worked with.

Pt1 in which I started to examine the Integral Health aspects of the Channel 4 programme Don't Look Down. I have been facinated by the insight into James Kingston's life through this and was inspired to look at some of the Integral and health aspects of this lifestyle choice and how it could relate to stage development and other Integral concepts.
