This 2 part post is going to examine an idea that I had earlier this year about whether or not (in kinesiology as I have been taught it and in a wider perspective) we are avoiding the true negative (or destructive, or detrimental) dark emotions of the heart? Are we as a western society aiming to play down or suppress the negative emotions that we hold in our heart space? Is there a silently agreed upon, cultural denial of the true nature of our hearts when they become pathological or reactive?

Now that we have looked a little at how kinesiology can be used to address the environmental triggers for breathing difficulties, we will spend this post looking at the least acknowledged and least support area in conventional approaches, the emotional triggers.

Its just about the perfect time of year to review how we can use Kinesiology to manage breathing difficulties.
We are going to take a simple look at the areas that Kinesiology can help to address with each individual when it doesn't seem that a purely postural or chemical intervention is going to address the issue. Using kinesiology allows us to look more specifically at both emotional and environmental causes of breathing difficulties.

In this post we will be looking at how we can manage breathing difficulties through using Bowen Technique. This gentle and simple technique can easily be used by all age groups for all kinds of breathing difficulties. There are studied benefits from seeing a Bowen practitioner for sessions around respiratory difficulties and there is even a self help technique that can be used prior to exercise to improve respiratory function and to help relieve breathing during asthma attacks.
